LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy
As members of the queer community, ourselves, we understand the unique challenges that our community experiences, including higher rates of depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation due to societal discrimination and bullying, as well as pressures to "fit in" with our cisgender and heterosexual peers.

Many queer people have a hard time connecting with a therapist because either the therapist doesn't understand the nuances of being LGBTQ+ or they have their own judgements or preconceptions about our identities, hookup culture, and even how we structure our friendships and significant relationships. When clients have to educate their therapist on any of these issues, it takes away focus from the issues they're struggling with.

You deserve better from therapy. Our clinicians strive to create a welcoming environment where you feel seen, accepted, and valued for who you are. And you won't have to educate us about your identity or worry about us judging you.

You are safe here.
